On Sunday 2nd February the doors opened for the very first concert in Hamar’s Kirsten Flagstad–Hall in Norway.
570 people had the pleasure of hearing Leif Ove Andsnes and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra play Beethoven for which the Sparebanken Hedmark invited the region’s population as a gift to the community. A total of 2,000 people applied for tickets when the Bank announced that they would be presenting the concert for free last November.
Before the concert 220 students were invited to join the rehearsals and meet with Leif Ove including youngsters from the regions of Ringsaker, Gjøvik, Gausdal, strange, Odal, Hamar, Løten, Søndre Land, Fron and Hamar.
