The different faces of Viennese Classicism at one concert: a late opera overture by Mozart, one of his mature piano concertos, and a hugely influential symphony by Beethoven that pries open formal conventions. A major Berlin symphony orchestra with an exciting history, one of the greatest Northern European piano stars of our era and a British conductor who despite – at age 38 – his relative youth has been racking up triumph after triumph for many years and has already appeared before the Hungarian audience more than once as a guest of the Budapest Festival Orchestra. This time, Robin Ticciati will be visiting us at the helm of his own orchestra, as he has served as the chief conductor of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin since 2017.
