Leif Ove Andsnes and fellow Norwegian, soprano Lise Davidsen, have recorded an album dedicated to Edvard Grieg’s songs, including the famous Hauglussa song cycle. The new album – to be released on January 7 2022 on Decca Classics – is available to pre-order.
Coinciding with the release Lise Davidsen and Leif Ove Andsnes will perform Grieg in a European tour which takes them to Oslo (January 4), Berlin (January 6), Madrid (January 8), Munich (January 9, Vienna (January 11) and London (January 13).
