Leif Ove Andsnes and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra are back on the road together taking the Beethoven Journey to Asia. With a packed tour which has so far included performances in Hong Kong, Tapei, Kaohsiung and a residency in Shanghai, the musicians perform tonight in Goyang (Korea) before heading for Japan.

Audiences can catch The Beethoven Journey in Shizuoka on 14 May and join Leif Ove and the MCO in Residency at Tokyo Opera City Hall on 15 and 17 May for what will be a very special week.

Leif Ove’s first tour to Japan was in 1993 together with the Bergen Philharmonic. So this year is a special milestone and Leif Ove looks forward to returning to a country, culture and audience which are all close to his heart.
