Leif Ove Andsnes is suffering from pneumonia and with enormous regret must withdraw from his concerts with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in Frankfurt this week and in Berlin next Tuesday. These were to have been the launch of his Mozart Momentum 1785/1786 project with the orchestra so it is especially disappointing for him. The Alte Oper Frankfurt, Stiftung Berliner Philharmoniker and Mahler Chamber Orchestra are extremely grateful to Lars Vogt, who has agreed to jump in at short notice to perform the concerts in Frankfurt and Berlin.
