The thirst for
transcendence and the colors of the festival appear in a clear and fresh tone.

Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Ansnes. A valuable recital by a master who has deepened his art in a unique area will be realized in the 500-seat Philia Hall!

The program has a clear and transparent tone, a natural expression that seems to serve the music thoroughly, and even the composition is well thought out. Regarding this recital, there may be no need for additional explanations in the program notes by Ansnes himself below, as well as commentary other than the performance. Please listen to this achievement, which can only be shown by a pianist representing the present day.

In this recital, we will deliver a two-pronged program. The first half is a worldview where you can feel the comfort and transcendence of the spirit. Liszt’s work shows that he was searching for spiritual messages under his religious beliefs. In particular< the > of consolation has a close connection with such a spiritual world, and it is like a beautiful conversation between the performer and the listener. At the same time, the space and breathing in this work are also fascinating.
of Miserere has a unique ecstatic atmosphere, blending piety with romantic intensity.
Beethoven’s Sonata Op. 111 is one of the most fascinating works I know. It expresses human conflict, weakness, and doubt, but at the same time contains strength, thirst for light, and moments of bliss and transcendence.
The second half of the program is in stark contrast, using the colorful and theatrical worldview of visiting Carnival to bring us back to society and everyday life. Schumann’s early piano works are one of the most unique title pieces, depicting Chopin, Paganini, Clara Schumann and other friends and musical companions, as well as the various characters he imagines. It is a very cheerful song, full of vitality and youthful desire for life, and the piano style is a great attraction with a variety of techniques, techniques, and rich colors.
