The Guardian reviews Leif Ove Andsnes and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra on tour in London
“This captivating ensemble offered a life-enhancing account of Prokofiev and danced their way through Grieg in what felt like a get-together of old friends … When they choose, though, the Norwegians can do serious too. Seated and playing from the score this time, and with Leif Ove Andsnes directing from the keyboard, two substantial Mozart piano concertos were the centrepiece of the concert. Once again, interplay and colour were to the fore.”
