Leif Ove Andsnes is heading home after a highly successful tour and recording sessions which ended in Prague last night. Joining him on the journey home is the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and together they will perform Beethoven at the Bergen Festival tomorrow (Friday May 23).
This special Bergen concert completes a three year trilogy of Beethoven performances at the Festival made possible by the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Foundation which has sponsored Leif Ove and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra throughout their Beethoven journey to date.
